Instruments are used worldwide in both submersible
and non-submersible hydrological applications.
The USGS (United States Geological Survey) and
international organizations Accurately Measure Water Levels
with the PS-2 non-submersible water stage system. The PS-2
easily replaces mercury manometers in gas bubbler systems to
provide precise readings with modern digital outputs.
Fully submersible Depth Sensors are available with completely
characterized frequency outputs or intelligent RS-232
Interfaces. These High Resolution Depth Sensors are used for Tsunami detection,
offshore platform leveling, depth measurement and control of
Remotely Operated Vehicles, and seafloor subsidence
measurements.
Frequency output transducers can be connected to
an intelligent
electronic card to make a system capable of RS-232 and
RS-485 operation.
A two line digital
display the Model 715, can be connected to all new
Paroscientific RS-232 and
RS-485 output transmitters to provide digital readout of pressure,
temperature, engineering units, overpressure warning, tare
indication, user defined messages and a horizontal bar graph
showing percentage of full-scale pressure.
